Cameron lay dead on the floor of the House. This was an unexpected ending to PM’s question time. The exchanges between the opposing party leaders had been predictable; government cuts in public spending and seven day working in the NHS had both leaders running for their mammies.
“My mother didn’t fight in two world wars to see the NHS treated so cruelly”.
“My mother told me that this is precisely why she tore up her little red book…”.
And so it went on with the usual rowdiness from the backbenchers. At the height of the roaring from Tory MPs, the House was plunged into darkness. A shot rang out, the lights came back on seconds later and there on the floor was the immaculately groomed body of the PM.
Corbyn woke from his dream and realised it was his turn at the dispatch box.
